Are there any European guidelines which advocate for the integration of language data into the national open data policy?

  • The Public Sector Information (PSI) directive which is the EU recommendation for open data defines a "document" as "any content whatever its medium (written on paper or stored in electronic form or as a sound, visual or audiovisual recording)". This definition involves language data to a large extent.

    Moreover, it is very likely that in many countries the PSI transposition recommends even more specifically such integration.
